Synopsis

The chapter begins with the main character discussing their curse and its effects, granting them immunity to other curses. They then engage in a confrontation with a saintess, who has a curse that rejects fate. The main character challenges the saintess's understanding of divine grace, revealing that she's always been blessed, not abandoned. The saintess, angered and disillusioned, refuses to cleanse the polluted forest and leaves it to be burned, while the main character plans to return home.
