Synopsis

The chapter begins with the hero facing down a foe who had previously been given a chance to surrender. As the hero searches for the final "life" he needs to recover, he finds himself in a mana-unstable area filled with powerful undead, where he encounters a former comrade. This comrade reveals the awakening of their lord and expresses loyalty, before the hero is then shown a meeting with a saintess.
