Synopsis

The chapter begins with the hero arriving at a forest of undead trees created by a necromancer, who seems to be observing them. Meanwhile, a Saintess Candidate expresses her frustration with not being chosen, doubting her faith and planning to act against God's will. The hero then reveals his plan to find and confront the necromancer, which he successfully does by controlling a portion of the undead army using a special technique.
