Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reflecting on his interactions with Ezel, followed by him successfully selling information to the Bamboo Mountain Sect about their enemy Hakcheol Lee for a sum of coins. He then seeks out Seokhyun, a merchant who previously scammed him, and identifies him as a purveyor of low-quality martial arts scrolls at high prices. He then purchases a relatively overpriced sword technique to keep the merchant interested. The chapter concludes with a chilling display of the protagonist's killing intent after his encounter with Seokhyun.
