Synopsis

The chapter opens with the interrogation of three survivors from the Gaphor merchant group, the only ones to return from a raid on a hundred-man gate. They describe a powerful Green Hob boss that likely decimated the other hundred adventurers, sparking disbelief and accusations of betrayal. Meanwhile, a group reveals they orchestrated the raid's failure to acquire a powerful item, but they begin to fear the survivors may know their involvement with the Black Magician's followers, leading them to consider eliminating the infiltrated members within the merchant unions to avoid exposure.
