Synopsis

A powerful hurricane engulfs the fleet, causing a rival ship to capsize. The fleet led by the protagonist is spared due to a force apparently mediated through the Saintess, who is tied up and seems to be acting as a conduit. The protagonist then encounters a sea god who grants the Saintess powers over the waves after acknowledging the attention of gods can be harmful to those lacking faith. The chapter ends with the deity offering her more authority.
