Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Blood Axe Sect declaring they will no longer deal with the Zhongli Clan, then they are confronted by Byek Taesan, a Zhongli clan elder, who exudes an overwhelming energy. Despite facing the seemingly powerful elder, the Blood Axe Sect member puts up a fight, and is revealed to be very strong. Taesan then invites him to join the Zhongli Clan instead of serving as a merchant guild bodyguard, promising to personally teach him martial arts. The elder also seems to be hiding a great power, despite not appearing to be overtly strong.
