Synopsis

The chapter opens with a Barco knight disparaging Roman for his supposed weakness and the family he is escorting. Roman initially attempts to de-escalate but the knight refuses to back down. He then confronts the knight over his disrespectful actions, and his refusal to apologize. This leads to a display of Roman's changed personality and a show of authority as he makes it clear he's not to be trifled with, and others recognize his transformation from a perceived 'moron'. The chapter concludes with the other characters acknowledging Roman's change and wondering what happened to him, while a potential conflict brews.
