Synopsis

The chapter opens with the aftermath of a failed operation against Roman Dimitri, where his overwhelming power is showcased and he seems to have transformed into a demon-like being. The mercenaries who attacked him realize they were used as bait, as the Cronos Empire's assassins try to take him down. It is revealed that these assassins use a form of black magic and Roman deduces that this power has some clear weaknesses that he can exploit during the fight.
