Synopsis

The chapter opens with a flashback of the main character's happy family home before transitioning to the present where a large number of refugees are fleeing monster attacks and seeking shelter. Lloyd plans to house them in his estate, seeing a chance to increase tax revenue, while his staff worries about the logistics and ethics of his actions. The chapter ends with Lloyd's team finding a solution to food scarcity by using locusts, and preparing for the influx of refugees, guided by an ancient cooking book.
