Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Builders Guild defending their old bridge, which Lloyd insists is flawed. Lloyd then amazes everyone by constructing a superior suspension bridge, earning him the title of Master Builder and resolving his estate's debt. However, he then accuses a royal official of bribery, leading to a confrontation with the Queen and putting himself in danger. The chapter ends with the Queen ordering his judgment and the implication that he manipulated events to avoid future royal plans.
