Synopsis

This chapter focuses on Lloyd's efforts to transform the Maritz Wetlands into farmland to increase tax revenue. He's managing super-productive but unpaid orc miners and encounters a unique water-guzzling hippo. After initial failures with manual drainage, Lloyd discovers a simulation tool and, despite his frustration, uses his limited resource points to summon more large creatures to help with the draining process. The chapter also touches on Lloyd's past aspirations and the mysterious reason for his being in this world.
