Synopsis

The protagonist encounters a group of seemingly aggressive demons, the 'Eight Heavenly Demon Kings', who are actually farmers using farming tools as weapons. He discovers they are fearful of humans due to past actions of their ancestors, and are living in isolation due to their reputation as man-eaters. The Demon Supreme reveals they maintain a cold air barrier for protection and survival due to limited land. The chapter concludes with a potential deal for the protagonist to help them escape their barrier in exchange for their cooperation in building his trade route.
