Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist struggling with mana fatigue after a previous encounter, revealing his strategy of using mana-infused stones to lure enemies. He successfully kills an assassin, referred to as a "low-level scum," who underestimated him. Following the battle, he gains the assassin's contract and the abilities associated with it, while reflecting on the strategic use of mana. He manages to narrowly escape his pursuers by hiding his presence and using a mana-infused stone as bait.
