Synopsis

After a difficult fight, the protagonist defeats a middle boss, obtaining a powerful 'Shadow Steps' skill and increasing his level significantly. He reflects on how his actions mirror the villain's role in his novel, setting up the main character's rise. The protagonist forms an alliance with a character seeking revenge and recognizes that his actions, even as a villain, will serve to benefit another and decides he will return to Seoul, leaving the other to take advantage of the situation.
