Synopsis

The chapter opens with the novel's ending, a bleak world destroyed by the Demon King, then shifts to the novel's author experiencing criticism and realizing he's become Jang Shihwan, a henchman of the Demon King. He remembers the circumstances leading to the novels creation and his own frustrations with the world. Recognizing his new situation within the narrative, the author plans to change the ending, aware he'll face death if he doesn't and that he is currently set years before the original tragic conclusion.
