Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist facing increasingly difficult challenges as zombies evolve quickly. He realizes that he needs to land the final blow to gain evolution points, a vital resource for his own advancement. He must lure away stronger evolved zombies to ensure Xinyue's safety, while also noting the unusually fast evolution rate of the zombies. He manages to kill some and gain enough points to start upgrading strength and resolves to keep Xinyue alive and secure his own evolution.
