Synopsis

The chapter starts with Ren Xiaosu miraculously surviving a wolf pack attack, resulting in a significant strength increase. He's then unexpectedly offered a substitute teacher position, which he doesn't particularly want. He and his friends are then sent on a mission to the Jing Mountains, and the group seeks a guide, leading them to Wang Fugui, who recommends Ren Xiaosu. It is revealed that Wang Fugui lied about Ren Xiaosu's condition to the mercenaries, causing major problems when his actual mental state is revealed, and leaving Wang Fugui with a deadline to find a new guide.
