Synopsis

The chapter begins with the mysterious death of a team member, prompting the group to move deeper into the woods despite warnings about its weirdness. Tensions rise as strange phenomena, including a rapid increase in temperature and the appearance of ominous carvings, fuel paranoia and suspicion within the group. A character's past experience in the area is questioned, further exacerbating the group's distrust. The chapter ends with the shocking discovery that the dead body of Xu Xia has gone missing from the back of the truck.
