Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Crown Prince contemplating how to acquire a large sum of money ('Magen'). He decides to go to a monster auction, which is surprisingly still ongoing. The local mayor and a military commander are astonished by his arrival, attempting to leverage the situation for personal gain. The chapter ends with the revelation that the main auction item is a rare, enormous minotaur, with a very high starting bid.
