Synopsis

This chapter details Marine's origins as a test subject in a research lab where they were subjected to cruel experiments to unlock the power of the 'Ocean Tribe'. They were assigned the name 'H-' and forced to be the best at using the power to survive. They find a brief respite when a researcher named Jay takes them in, treating them like a human and renaming them Marine, but their newfound happiness is shattered when the military demands their power and brutally attacks Jay, forcing Marine into war.
