Synopsis

The chapter opens with Nox lamenting his social isolation as he faces a team-forming exercise, threatening him with academic failure if he can't join a group. Despite his outcast status, Nox is ultimately invited to join a team with Princess Eleanor and her servant, Rick, whose seemingly helpful demeanor hides a treacherous plot to betray Eleanor. Nox becomes wary of Rick and instructs his companion to keep both Rick and Eleanor at arm’s length due to Rick’s future betrayal and the unwanted attention Eleanor attracts.
