Synopsis

The chapter details the mechanics of 'Spirit Bind' and 'Spirit Enhancement,' explaining how orbs are used to rank monsters. Lian learns this from a demonstration and meets Griper's twin, a dimensional sorceress, who reveals the town's heroes are sealed away and tasks Lian with capturing 100 monsters to learn a mysterious ability. Lian does so, and at the end receives the spirit bind ability.
