Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the characters preparing a ritual to restore a divine relic, aware of an incoming attack by the mages of the Zipple family. They strategically delegate tasks, with Sir Cashmere leaving to recruit help and the others fortifying their position, while worrying whether their allies will arrive in time. Meanwhile, the Vice-Master of the Zipple family's seventh mage tower arrives and is enraged that his elder brother may have been harmed, demanding answers and threatening the group, and revealing that a large force of dragons and mages is under his command. This sets up a coming confrontation with high stakes.
