Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Runcandel cadets beginning a search mission for a missing noble, led by Jin, who insists on being called Commander. They are ambushed by humans, not beastmen, and Jin discovers they are members of a revolutionary group, Kinzello, who are also linked to the kidnapping of a female cadet, Mesa. After extracting information from a captured attacker, Jin determines to rescue Mesa and orders the other cadets to seek reinforcements, going alone despite the danger.
