Synopsis

The chapter opens with the main characters, a barbarian and an elf, working together to defeat monsters and gain experience. They learn about the dungeon's mechanics, specifically that defeating unique monster species gives the most experience. They encounter ghouls after veering off course, realizing their bad luck might lead to an advantage with the dungeon's mechanics. The elf is revealed to have a bounty on her head, which leads to a group of bounty hunters tracking them, while the main characters head to the second floor.
