Synopsis

The chapter begins with the characters suspecting a parasitic beast is among them. An "expert" claims to have created a tongue-coating medicine to reveal the beast and instructs everyone to hold it on their tongues. The process is revealed to be a farce as the medicine was simply color-changing candy. One character is accused of being a beast after swallowing the candy and not showing a color change; he is revealed to be the actual monster among the group.
