Synopsis

Ak Yeonho arrives in Kangho and, after a comical exchange, becomes drinking partners with Baek Suryong. They bond over shared goals of becoming instructors at the Jade Dragon Academy. Yeonho reveals his background from the esteemed Ak family, renowned for their spear techniques, and this revelation causes Suryong, who has his own hidden motives, to become intrigued. A brief encounter with a local official investigating a crime further establishes the setting.
