Synopsis

Joseph Bayezid is under immense pressure to succeed and become the next count, facing doubts from his family. He is also troubled by a mysterious swordsman whose progress in a month is unbelievably fast, initially showing horrible sword swings but later showcasing improvement. The chapter culminates with a monster attack during what seemed like a routine subjugation, revealing the inadequacy of the current defense and creating chaos as hobgoblins break through the lines.
