Synopsis

The chapter reveals that Selbirah is suffering from a deadly Chain Seal inflicted by Kagon, which is rapidly draining her life force. Inchen and Julian attempt to understand the seal while also preparing to find a way to break it. The chapter also shows Selbirah training with Inchen, and another character, Wilgon, showing hidden concern for her wellbeing. The characters grapple with the implications of Kagon's actions, and the possibility the technique is lost to history, meaning they're on their own to reverse it.
