Synopsis

The Adencas, having lost last year, get first pick of accompanying cadets, surprisingly choosing two low-ranked cadets. Meanwhile, preparations are hampered by the Samions influencing the mage association, leading to rising tensions. The Samion representative, Kagon, arrives and subtly challenges Vin Chen, setting the stage for a competitive atmosphere.
