Synopsis

Vinchen visits a former master blacksmith, Hansen, requesting he graft a dragon skeleton onto his Crimson Lotus sword instead of creating a new one. Hansen agrees, impressed by Vinchen's reasoning, and is later visited by a disgruntled supplier complaining about the quality of his swords and his sparring matches with Vinchen, who is revealed to be using the Crimson Lotus. Hansen recognizes the sword, confronts Vinchen, and is deeply intrigued by Vinchen’s technique and strength, agreeing to teach him, all while his adopted daughter, Seri, observes. The chapter ends with Hansen recognizing Vinchen's technique and strength, noting that Vinchen's path may be correct.
