Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the protagonist's difficult training to use his aura, hampered by his body's inability to channel it properly. He barely manages to defeat an orc by forcefully pushing his aura, causing extreme pain. After dying, he finds himself in a 'netherworld' with another character, and discovers that his death triggers the acquisition of monster skill cards. He is then prompted to choose one card, setting the stage for future power-ups.
