Synopsis

A televised culinary competition commences, pitting Chef Yoo Seong, using high-grade chili powder, against Chef Jeong Soo Chan, using lower-grade ingredients. Chef Yoo Seong creates a tteokbokki dish that earns unanimous praise from the judges but receives lower scores from some citizen judges, highlighting a potential disconnect between the appreciation of basic cooking and ingredient quality. Chef Soo Chan's goal was to showcase the difference, and specifically aimed for a reaction from a citizen who is a chili farmer, to see the flaws in simply relying on good ingredients.
