Synopsis

The chapter reveals the presence of jackals in an A-rank dungeon, an anomaly that implies they were intentionally introduced by someone. The hunters are then faced with a massive force of high orcs, far exceeding the expected danger for the gate, proving the dungeon was more difficult than assessed. One hunter decides to summon a powerful beast to aid in the fight despite its major mana drain, and the other hunters struggle against the high orcs, realizing they are in a major disadvantage with the sheer difference in numbers and strength. The hunters are forced to split up into smaller groups, accepting that sacrifices are necessary for survival.
