Synopsis

Igris narrates his past where he was tasked to test the protagonist's worthiness, a test he lost despite having higher stats, due to the protagonist's tenacity and resemblance to Igris's former liege. He details his acceptance of the protagonist as his new master, the strong bond they formed, and the many battles they fought together. He describes the creation of the 'World of Rest,' an area where his new liege's soldiers live and develop, changing from destruction to developing emotions. The chapter then ends with the start of a new story told by Igris of the first battle between his current liege and the dragon emperor.
