Synopsis

The protagonist observes that the dungeon operates like a game, with monsters respawning and having color-coded labels indicating their strength. They notice their own increased strength reflected in a previously orange-labeled enemy now being white. A powerful monster is sensed deeper within the dungeon, leading to the protagonist’s consideration of whether to press on or use a teleportation stone to escape, possibly losing the chance to further increase their power. They grapple with the feeling of being a pawn in a larger game.
