Synopsis

The chapter introduces a terrifying shadow entity in the forest that mimics people and tracks death. A character returns home after being lost and injured, but behaves oddly, answering only with "yes" or "no" and showing odd behavior, which prompts suspicion that she may be a shadow mimicking her. The family is aware of the unusual situation and tries to cover up the strangeness.
