Synopsis

Ciel is initially confused about being adopted by Ferze instead of being a test subject. The chapter then shifts to a tense negotiation between Ferze and Sharkiss regarding a mine in exchange for Ciel's care. The narrative also delves into the historical conflict between the Eckart and Visenna families, stemming from the kidnapping of Liena and revealing the Visenna's reputation as villains.
