Synopsis

Ciel is being carried at high speed towards the Capitol by her new guardian, who she fears is going to punish her for a past mishap with a soggy cookie. She recalls stories of spirit riding, but doesn't seem to connect it with her current mode of travel. She's confused by his actions, especially when he unexpectedly tells her he is her father now, which is a surprising departure from their contractual agreement. Despite her initial apprehension, she begins to feel a strange, pleasant sensation as she is carried.
