Synopsis

The chapter centers on the protagonist's internal monologue, revealing her terror at her father's, the Grand Duke Visenna's, seemingly cold and demanding approach to raising her. She recalls his observation during a dangerous test and interprets it as a sign he wants to mold her into a powerful fighter, similar to a 'Visenna Monster'. In response, she attempts to strike a bargain, offering all her cookie money to the church in exchange for a long and healthy life, highlighting her fear of an early death.
