Synopsis

The chapter begins with the aftermath of a devastating attack on the Pontier forces, revealing their miraculous survival. A character, seemingly Joshua's subordinate, is introduced, and a separate contingent appears to have their supplies attacked, revealing an information leak. The situation escalates as Kayn, identified as a powerful knight, intervenes and defends the supply lines, while inside the Pontier compound, suspicions of treachery brew as they ponder how the enemy knew of their secret supply route. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Crombell family highlights their frustration and attempts to strategize in light of the setbacks.
