Synopsis

The chapter details the history of elves, their conflict with humans, and the creation of the 'Elf's Tears' ring. The protagonist, after acquiring the ring, sends his loyal attendant to the Duke to become a guardian knight for the Duke's daughter and to train in swordsmanship. Meanwhile, a council of powerful mages discusses the theft of two primordial stones, and also reveals a rumor of a young magic swordsman's appearance, which intrigues and concerns the group.
