Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist's group setting up camp outside the Forest of Dark Beings, where Joshua explains the heightened aggression of monsters during a 'red moon' and the period between monsters coming down to the town became shorter. He sends his men away and enters the forest, revealing his goal of acquiring a Primordial Stone to control his berserk power, a source of power and magic. Joshua encounters a powerful Black Ogre and uses a stealth technique from his past to evade it, but his pursuit of the stone leads him to use a powerful attack instead.
