Synopsis

Ye Feng battles a powerful assassin who reveals a desire to personally kill him, using a forbidden overclocking technique despite knowing the real-life death penalty. He is brought to the brink of death but is saved by the effect of a hidden item, the Sacred Cross Emblem. The emblem sacrifices itself to grant him a brief respite. Ye Feng reflects on attracting unwanted attention and decides to escape to a nearby town, preparing for further dangers that seem to be gathering.
