Synopsis

A seemingly kind priestess is confronted by a guild officer who views the underprivileged people she cares for as manipulative and lazy. He exposes their perceived flaws and hires them to test a potion, planning to disillusion her. The priestess, however, defends the people, stating they act out of pain, not malice. The chapter ends with the guild officer believing he's successfully sown doubt in the priestess and is close to manipulating her to his ends.
