Synopsis

The chapter opens with a chilling warning from a mysterious figure and then shifts to various factions discussing the recent murder of the Thunder Clan's leader. They suspect an extraordinary assassin and are trying to track them down, while also investigating the movements of other powerful sects like the Emei Sect. Meanwhile, the Black Cloud Corps' Captain, Jang Muryang, directly approaches the assassin, recognizing his exceptional power despite the assassin's attempts to conceal it, and attempts to recruit him into their ranks. The assassin ultimately rejects the offer with a veiled insult.
