Synopsis

The chapter opens with a demon offering the protagonist, Kangwoo, the chance to become a demon, promising him eternal life and power. Simultaneously, a group of lower-ranked demons are being controlled by a mysterious entity and are tasked with protecting a specific individual, Seolah, in a separate battle while plotting to use a female hostage to lure out Kangwoo. It appears a larger conflict is in play with different groups having their own agendas and goals related to Kangwoo.
