Synopsis

The chapter opens with the returned player encountering people from another world, specifically the Arnans. He discovers a wounded dragon who is believed to be responsible for a drought and plague. The player quickly forms a bond with the dragon, acknowledging it as his summoned familiar, and defends it against the accusations of the Arnan Prince who seeks to harm the dragon, Echidna. Through this interaction, the player learns about the Arnan's perspective and beliefs, while also asserting his own authority.
