Synopsis

Kangwoo is accepted into the Guardians, not due to desperation, but because of his strong feelings for Sihoon and genuine fury towards the demon that harmed him. A blessing drastically increases Kangwoo's power, even with reduced effect for not being a "Protector". He vows to protect the world, specifically Seolah, from Satan, who is revealed to have caused destruction and pain. The chapter ends with Kangwoo accidentally destroying a pot of kimchi stew while thinking about the enemy.
